Marek Benko

Marek is an experienced consultant focused on operational excellence, sourcing & procurement and project management. He has held senior management positions in industry with key activities in manufacturing, design and development of large form factor mobile machinery and its parts.

In a leadership role at a privately owned international trade and manufacturing company he led initiatives in product development, market growth, international expansion and M&A.

One of the initiatives he led and was responsible for included procurement improvement and sourcing of alternative suppliers to diversify risk, improve delivery times, meet end user requirements and reduce the costs without compromising quality of the products.

Marek started his consulting career at PwC, where he advised his clients primarily in automotive, banking, telco, and energy on issues from strategy, through process improvement, to compliance.

Marek holds a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at University of Virginia, USA. He is board member of the mountain rescue NGO and a certified paramedic.
