Hugh is a senior executive with over 25 years experience in management board, COO, VP and General Manager roles with regional or Global responsibility in the industrial equipment, telecommunications infrastructure and consumer electronics sectors.

With core skills in Global manufacturing operations, supply chain, procurement and customer account management, he frequently works with senior leadership teams to define and implement their future operating models.

At Pacellico, Hugh works with our customers and our Global implementation teams to transform end-to-end supply chain operations into customer focused, market differentiators operating at World class capability and performance with detailed attention to environmental, social and governance principles.

Career Highlights

As Interim COO at Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG, Hugh developed & implemented a €150m “Future Factory” CAPEX investment program to modernize existing infrastructure, expand capacity in new markets and prepare the Group for an industry 4.0 transition.

Hugh implemented a Global cost performance improvement program & monitoring based on product line gross margin prioritization to support the achievement of key Group strategic objectives of >20% EBIT & >20% market share.

He further developed the “Future Operating Model”, a vision, set of principles and implementation plan of how the Group will transform its end-to-end supply chain into a customer focused and agile World class capability and market differentiator.

As VP Global procurement at Edwards Vacuum, Hugh was responsible for the transformation and Globalization of a US$550m supply chain, reduced cost by US$40m over 3 years and rebalanced the Global supply capability by relocating US$300m spend from 100+ UK / high-cost EU suppliers to CEE & APAC.

As GM manufacturing operations at Flextronics, Hugh successfully managed and developed two large green-field electronics manufacturing sites in CEE, taking headcount from 250 to 3,500 and profitably growing annual revenues of US$500m.
