David Gaussiran

David has over 25 years of operations experience in manufacturing, quality, NPI engineering, and supplier interactions at Global corporations (Textron, Electrolux, TI Automotive) and startups (Phononic, US Extrusions). He is experienced in automotive, white goods, consumer products, semiconductor, and life sciences industries across US, MX, EU, SA, and APAC.

As Sr. Director of Quality and Manufacturing Excellence at Phononic, reporting directly to the COO, his responsibilities covered manufacturing, quality, field service, and regulatory affairs. He was tasked to establish and grow a new quality department supporting all corporate functions as well as driving APQP and root cause analysis disciplines into the organization. At the same time, he owned direct relationships with contract manufacturing partners focusing on critical processes and new manufacturing technologies. Major accomplishments include flawlessly launching 6 unique products across 4 greenfield contract manufacturing facilities in North America and APAC.

As Director of NPI Quality for North America at Electrolux reporting directly to the VP of Quality, David managed all aspects of quality across multiple manufacturing facilities in North America and China.  His teams were responsible to drive best-in-class quality throughout the Electrolux product line and achieve up to 65% reduction of warranty claims year over year, then drive manufacturing controls such as SPC, DFA/DFM, FMEA, control plan throughout the supply chain.  His teams also made great strides with evaluating and onboarding competitive suppliers through strategic supplier development projects.
