Cornelia is a senior executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in different roles within manufacturing industries. During her career she has gained wide-ranging experiences in different areas like Finance & Controlling, Supply Chain & IT – both through her executive roles as well as by successfully running large, high impact projects.

At Pfeiffer Vacuum, Cornelia contributed to the success of the company by executing various roles:

As Financial Executive Director for the French subsidiary she managed the accounting and controlling team, significantly improved the financial performance of the company and introduced a world-wide internal control and risk management system. As Director of Supply Chain, Purchasing and Logistics, she successfully delivered a project to improve product on-time delivery from 75% to 95%.

The main actions driven by Cornelia in the logistics & distribution area were to increase efficiency by optimizing the logistics organization, putting in place a pick to light process, introducing mobile solutions, implementing a warehouse management system and negotiating with key suppliers to manage inventories at their location. Based on her success in the French subsidiary, Cornelia was promoted to Head of Global IT of the worldwide Pfeiffer Vacuum Group. Her major achievements in this role were to transform the local IT organizations into 1 Global integrated organization and to launch a global ERP harmonization program based on SAP S/4 Hana.

As Chief Financial Officer for HPC AG, a German consultancy for logistics in SAP context, and Head of Finance and Controlling for Resopal GmbH she used her in-depth subject matter experience in Finance & Controlling to manage the financial departments in an international context (incl. US-GAAP) and to accompany acquisitions and restructurings.
