Calin Albut

Calin has more than 16 years’ experience in global logistics, transportation and warehousing operations. He worked in the electronics manufacturing, logistics services and automotive sectors.

He managed the Logistics and Warehouse function of a large EMS manufacturing site, owning warehousing and transportation, responsible for a team of 90+ people and a yearly $6M logistics spend, with key objectives in optimization of the transportation management and costs and warehousing operational performance.
As a Warehouse Manager for a local ground transportation company he developed, implemented and managed a build-to-suit warehousing project for 2 local manufacturing customers, which includes inbound, storage, WMS integration, daily supply and transportation of materials to the sites.

Calin was the European Logistics Manager for Celestica, supporting 3 manufacturing sites and several customer hubs based in Europe, working closely with the site logistics teams and logistics providers to support operations continuity and operational performance during the supply chain disruptions due to global pandemic situation.

He was working also for an automotive company, responsible for optimizing transportation, warehousing and line logistics operations.
